Defender 90: 205mm from front door edge 160mm from rear edge 50mm from top of panel 50mm from bottom of panel Defender 110: 120mm from door edge 140mm from rear edge 50mm from top of panel 45mm from bottom of panel use roll of masking tape for corner radius Tip: Use new masking tape roll on the corners.
With a screw driver and hammer, bend up the lower tabs on each side of the brace and break this away from the rivets; the bottom should now be loose, slice down the back of each side with a Stanley Knife. Once this is completed, gently wiggle the bracket until it comes away from the rivets at the top. When the bracket is free, you will need to grind the rivets flat.
If you are using a Jigsaw to complete this task, we strongly advise you tape around the edges of the hole you are cutting.
