Step 1
First remove the old sunroof and frame work clean off the old glue and dirt from around edge the of hole make sure the new roof frame fits the hole
Step 2
With a roll of making tap tape around edge of hole then place frame in hole and with a sharp knife cut round edge of frame now remove frame and peel away the inner most tape 12mm From the kit take a wipe from the kit and clean the frame and roof then with the primer and cotton bud supplied carefully prime round edge of the hole no more than 10mm or primer will show also prime frame face that meets the roof then leave five minutes to dry
Step 3
With glue and pre cut nozzle from kit apply an even glue line round the edge of the frame now place in hole you will need to clamp frame all way round then with builders wipes & an old credit or filler plastic card remove any glue from around frame remove masking tape once you have remove all excess glue leaving nice clean line round frame then leave for two hours for glue to cure
Step 4
Remove clamps and fit the two inner trims in their place, you can clamp in position with pop rivets and correct size drill bit from kit, drill and pop rivet into place if there is still a gap on badly cut headliner there is a rubber trim supplied in kit to finish edge off
Step 5
Now your ready to fit roof glass with a new wipe clean and dry glass edge and inner frame then as before prime the glass and frame let this dry for 5mins apply an even bead of glue round inner frame and fit glass clean any excess of the inside you can fill frame to glass if you wish but its not necessary
